Holloway family, Staffs
The abundance of wild flowers in the hedgerows and meadows and the variety of butterflies that they attract. Stunning views from cliff walks in stunning unspoilt countryside.

First and lasting impression, a beautiful cottage and great hosts. We really enjoyed the blustery December weather. The dog loved the outdoor life and we feel guilty taking him back to London. We are already planning our return.

Fantastic Accommodation, fantastic location, wonderful lovely hosts, fantastic scenery, all in all fantastic weekend break. Couldn’t find fault with a thing, can’t wait to be here again.

Overwhelmed first by stopping in the front door! A beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean cottage with everything you could want plus more. It’s clear a lot of care and thought has gone into the cottage, the pictures on the website don’t do it full justice! Thanks for the lovely stay we will certainly be back.

Wonderful coastline and lovely to be able to walk to the sea so easily. We have been lucky to have lots of sunshine and blue skies. The wild spring flowers everywhere all so beautiful. Many thanks to the Heards’ for their tremendous hospitality in the beautifully equipped cottage.
Chris, Joanna and family, Cambridge.
Lovely quiet location hedgerows bristling with foxgloves. We’ve had lovely sunny days and some with heavy rain. We’ve been to Clovelly, Bude, Barnstaple, Bideford Exmoor, Truro and the Royal Cornwall show. We’ve walked our legs off! Eaten fit to drop, the accommodation is excellent dry and warm and comfortable. We will be back, many thanks, don’t want to go home.

One of the best cottages we have stayed in! Cosy and welcoming. Home made bread, breakfast, flowers and a dog bed – Brilliant. Lovely walks to Spekes Waterfall, Brownsham to Clovelly, Welcombe Valley and Morwenstow to Sandy Mouth. Great food and location at Hartland Quay Hotel and Bush Inn at Morwenstow. Yummy cakes at Rectory tea rooms, fabulous weather, hope to be back soon. Thank you.

Idyllic few days break in our favourite part of the country. Felt at home the moment we arrived. Dennis & Sonia provide wonderful hospitality. A place to unwind & take in the natural beauty of this unspoilt corner.
